Harassment Prevention Workshop

This interactive workshop for business owners, managers and supervisors will teach participants how to prevent significant legal liability and maximize management caring and credibility. Illegal harassment will be defined and employee, supervisor and employer responsibilities will be identified. Connecticut law requires companies with 50 or more employees to post a notice of harassemnt prevention training for supervisory personnel within six months of their hire.

Additionally, the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) has an office at the Chamber’s facility and offers one-on-one business counseling to small business owners. SCORE offers appointments on Monday and Wednesday mornings. All sessions are held at the offices of the Chamber of Commerce. Course fees are $50 per class for Chamber members, $100 per class for non-members.
