TRAVELING THERAPIST
Board Certified Behavior Analyst – BCBA
Sign on Bonus- $3000
$72,000.00 to $85, 0000
Bonus with no ceiling
State of Connecticut- traveling to CT every 4 weeks all expenses paid to travel
Must be willing to travel the entire state when visiting
Must be willing to be licensed in CT- paid by company
Behavioral Health Consulting Services, LLC is expanding our services and looking for career-minded Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA®) to join our team of supportive professionals providing high-quality behavioral programming, utilizing ABA principles, both in-home and our center working with early intervention and afterschool children, and their families impacted by Autism.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and document initial assessments
Write detailed behavioral plans with measurable goals and objectives
Develop strategies and provide direction to Behavioral Technicians (BT’s)
Supervise Behavioral Technicians
Track progress and regularly discuss goals with BT’s and families
Review, discuss and approve BT staff documentation
Provide ongoing training and support to staff
May provide ongoing social skills group for children and families
Train and document all staff current with regulatory compliance training
Maintain knowledge base of current and new techniques
Must be willing to travel up to 1 hour. . Must be willing to travel to the following locations:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree
Licensed in the State of CT
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1-year Autism experience (3-5 preferred) working with children, adolescents, and their families and caregivers
Minimum 2 years of experience designing and supporting behavior plans
If direct work experience is more than 5 years ago, continuing presence and work in the field of child and adolescent behavioral health/behavior management may be substituted
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS
Individual must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®).*
* OR Licensed masters-level clinician LPC, LMFT or LCSW
Must have knowledge and experience with ABA methods
