Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs routine set up, operation, and preventative maintenance of basic manufacturing equipment.
• Controls and adjusts machine settings.
• Inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and identifies quality issues.
• May operate light-duty bench or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as the FKN depanelizers, board routers, pallet cleaners, or stencil cleaners.
• Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents.
• Assists in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
• Selects appropriate processes from clearly documented rules, past practices, or instruction.
• Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from manager.
• Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Good eyesight and hand coordination
• Ability to read & understand assembly prints
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical problems
• Basic component identification skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Education and/or Experience
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work.
• Typically, up to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Essential Duties & Responsibilities as presented above.
Working Relationships
Contacts are primarily with immediate manager and others in employee’s home area.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing and walking for the entire work shift. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
