I am so grateful to the Chamber for being the hub for all of our local business leaders to connect!
Chamber networking events have connected my small nonprofit to great supporters, volunteers, and new donor relationships. The Chamber is even a source for new board members! In a world that is increasingly private, where we may not really even know our own neighbors, the Chamber is a place to connect with people IRL and develop professional relationships in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. The many events hosted by The Chamber of Commerce create countless opportunities for business development.
Recently I have heard people saying that job postings online are too often “ghost jobs.” There is a solution for this: meet people in person via the Chamber of Commerce, and every opportunity you find will be the real deal!

I am proud to say I am a graduate of the NW Chamber’s Leadership Class of 2013. It was an amazing experience that introduced me to many community and business leaders in the area. I still participate in the Chamber and continue to meet new members and foster new business relationships.

I joined the Chamber in the spring of 2020 when the pandemic was just starting. The virtual networking opportunities the chamber has offered has allowed me to make some great connections. The Chamber is passionate about helping people make business to business connections but also in helping to bring consumers to local retail establishments.

The Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce has always been near and dear to me both professionally and personally. Not only is it the hub for all businesses in northwest Connecticut, but it encourages a special feeling of camaraderie where business relationships easily form into lasting friendships. I owe much to the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and am proud to be an active member. Thank you for all you do for us!
