Torrington Public Schools- Interpreters/Translators (Spanish/English)
As a Full-time Interpreter/Translator bilingual in Spanish and English, applicants must be fluent in both languages for spoken phone conversations, face-to-face meetings, in writing for translating district documents, and school letters to parents/families of elementary students from English to Spanish. Proficiency in Word and Excel preferred.
The schedule will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday-according to the student school day at the assigned work site. Work year is equal to the student school year (181 days), plus additional day as needed for professional development.

Southwest Elementary School & Forbes Elementary School (shared)-School Hours 8:40am-3:40pm
Torrington High School-School Hours 7:15am-2:15pm
