The Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce is proud to accept nominations for its 2026 40 Under 40 Awards, recognizing forty exceptional young professionals who are making a meaningful difference throughout Northwest Connecticut.

These awards celebrate individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in their profession, outstanding leadership, community involvement, innovation, and a commitment to improving the quality of life and economic vitality of our region.

Whether they are entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, manufacturers, nonprofit leaders, public servants, tradespeople, artists, or business professionals, these emerging leaders are helping shape the future of Northwest Connecticut.

Selection Process

• All nominations will be reviewed by the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee or designee Committee.
• Selection will be based on the quality of each nomination, not the number if nominations received. Duplicate nominations will not increase the likelyhood of selection.
• The committee seeks a diverse class of recipients representing a broad range of industries, professions, communities, and backgrounds thoughout Northwest Connecticut.

Nomination Deadline

All nominations must be received by 4:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026.
