ANDRITZ – Grinder Operator-Torrington

ANDRITZ’s Torrington facility is located at 90 Commercial Boulevard, Torrington, CT 06790, just off Litchfield Street (Route 202). The site joined ANDRITZ in 2016 through the acquisition of the former SHW Casting Technologies Inc.

The Torrington plant is part of the ANDRITZ global service network, providing comprehensive roll services for the paper and nonwovens industries. The facility specializes in roll inspection, repair, rebuilding, grinding, and polishing, helping customers extend roll life and maximize equipment performance.

The Torrington team services process rolls of nearly all sizes, including rolls up to 78 inches in diameter, 550 inches in face length, and 75 tons in weight. Their capabilities span a wide range of process rolls, including suction rolls, calendar rolls, casting rolls, coating and printing rolls, engraved rolls, reel spools, and winder drums. Whether customers need routine maintenance or a complete roll rebuild, the facility delivers full-service support throughout North America.
