Business After Hours, the Chamber’s most successful networking program, is one of the highlights on our monthly event calendar. These events are held at different venues each time, hosted by a member of the chamber, most often at their place of business. Business After Hours offers attendees the opportunity to meet and network with fellow Chamber members. Attendance averages about a hundred people, representing almost as many separate businesses. There is also an opportunity to provide each host with a chance to highlight their business, facility, products and services. Light refreshments are served, and door prizes provided by the host are usually part of the agenda. Members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Membership Committee are encouraged to attend to welcome new members of the Chamber.
At each Business After Hours event, new members are recognized during remarks by the Chamber president and through personal introductions through a Chamber ambassador. Representatives of the Membership Committee work the registration table and beverage counter. All in all, it is an event well worth attending.
