O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking a JD Edwards Developer to join our team. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into accurate application specifications collaborating with stakeholders and key business analysts
Design, create, implement and maintain integrations between JD Edwards and other systems in an API first strategy
Write, test and implement programs using JD Edwards One Tools and other support toolsets, including EDI
Write stable, reusable code conforming to JD Edwards and Microsoft Teams coding styles and standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards development and support activities
Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality
Qualifications:
5-7 years of recent JD Edwards development and support experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
Extensive knowledge and understanding of JD Edwards development tools (OMW, RDA, FDA, Orchestrator and API development)
Experience with upgrades, migrations, and 3rd party integrations
Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical mindset
Technical skills such as SQL is a plus
