O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, seeks a QA/QC Engineer to join our team in our Heavy Civil division. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.
This position is responsible for the inspection of construction operations and assuring the conformance with the plans and specs to all applicable laws and company standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain inspection reports
Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
Perform inspections across all stages of production
Prepare and maintain test data for review
Evaluate data and draft reports
Identify areas for quality control improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
At least 5 years of experience in any combination of the following areas: field inspection experience, construction experience relevant to the type of work and the scope of the project, and/or previous experience as a QC professional
Must possess the following certifications:
ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician Certification
ACI Post Installed Anchor Inspector Certification
NETTCP Concrete Inspector Certification
NETTCP Paving Inspector Certification
NETTCP Soils and Aggregate Inspector Certification
OSHA 10
