O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT seeks a Scale House Operator to join our team. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.
This position would support our Torrington locations with occasional travel to Woodbury and Southbury. The hours run between 6:00/7:00 a.m. to 3:30/5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Weighing customer trucks and issuing proof of purchase
- Collecting payment
- Preparing daily load summaries
- Keeping time and material records
- Answering phone calls
- Performing administrative support
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
- Proven track record in reliability
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong customer service skills
