Entry Level Sales Position
The Binding Source, located in Torrington, CT is an industrial distributor of MRO (maintenance ∙ repair ∙ operations) products and services for major manufacturers. We have been in business for 35 years and are growing.
The sales representative will be trained in our sales process and procedures. This position is designed for growth for someone who has a desire to learn our products, services, and sales processes.
The right candidate will work with and learn from all other employees of our company to understand all our processes. They will learn about the customers and products they use and why. They will work inside and outside sales, starting off mainly inside, and travel with experienced reps to learn outside sales. They would learn by doing and experiencing customer interaction, eventually developing new business by finding new customers and working with current customers.
This is an entry level position with 0-4 years’ experience in sales or customer service. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and enjoys interaction with customers in person and on the phone. Experience with Microsoft office required, strong attention to detail, presents themselves well, and has communication skills as well as a valid driver’s license as some future local travel will be needed.
We have a 401k offering and participation in generous company sponsored profit sharing plan, medical insurance plan, 2 weeks’ vacation leave, 1-week sick leave and 8 paid holidays.
Salary would be in the 40 to 50K yearly range to start with good room for growth as the applicant proves themself. We will offer phone, tablet, computer, and travel expenses when on the road.
