The Chamber membership directory is printed annually and a digital version is posted online. Each member is listed alphabetically, by category and by contact person. Members are asked to update their company profiles each fall. In addition to company information, Chamber programs, services and events are also highlighted in the directory, as well as demographic information on the 21 towns in the region, and a listing of state and federal elected officials.
Display advertising opportunities for member businesses are available in our forthcoming Directory. E&M Consulting, which produces the directories for 2017, 208 and 2019, is responsible for all display advertising. Members are encouraged to purchase display advertising in our monthly newsletter ranging from 3 ½” x 2 ¼” (the size of a business card) to a full page. The deadline for advertising is the 15th of the month.
Newsletter advertising rates and sizes are:
Full Page (7 ½” wide x 9 ½” high): $250.00
Half Page (horizontal 7 ½” wide x 4 ½” high or vertical 3 ½” wide x 9 ½” high): $150.00
Quarter Page (3 ½” wide x 4 ½” high): $75.00
Business Card (3 ½” wide x 2 ¼” high): $50.00

Each month we have over 2,600 unique visitors to our site. As a benefit of Chamber membership, member companies may purchase advertising space on the home page, current members page, or calendar of events page. Ads should be submitted in JPEG format and be a minimum 72 dpi and 175 pixels. The fee for advertising on the website is $150.00 per month.

CHAMBER EXCHANGE – MEMBER TO MEMBER ADVERTISING E-MAIL BLASTS
The Chamber sends e-mail blasts to all members with special offers and advertisements. These e-mails are sent separately from the standard member e-mails and are specially identified as offers from members. Members are able to place one ad per month. Ads can be linked to a website or FaceBook page. The e-mail distribution list exceeds 1,500 individuals. Ads should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format and should be 7″ wide x 3-5″ high. UPCOMING EVENT E-MAIL SPONSORSHIP
Each week, the Chamber sends out a detailed “Upcoming Events” e-blast to over 1,500 members. For $200 per month, Chamber members have the opportunity to sponsor these emails with a display advertisement and a link to their website or email address.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT PROGRAM
All members have the opportunity to present a promotional discount to other Chamber members to encourage Chamber members to shop locally with other members through the Membership Discount Program. Your promotion will be advertised to all members and when they shop or do business with you, they will present their discount card to you so you become aware of the effectiveness of your promotion with other members.

MEMBER INFORMATION AND ADVERTISING KIOSK
All members have the opportunity to place their informational or advertising material in the lobby area of the Chamber suite on Kennedy Drive. All individuals that enter the Chamber will be exposed to this area and are encouraged to take back information pertaining to the businesses they are interested in connecting with. The kiosk is organized by industry categories for easy browsing.

MEMBER MAILING LIST
As part of your membership, members can purchase the latest version of the membership mailing list to create your own direct mail campaigns.
The Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce maintains a small satellite location within the KidsPlay Children’s Museum on Main Street in Torrington. This space provides members the opportunity to display their brochures and business cards, as well as the opportunity to purchase advertising on the interactive kiosk located at the site.
